Opeti Vaka, Churrch Bro, Stand up comedy

Tongan/Māori Stand Up Comedian, ‘Opeti Vaka, is bringing his debut solo show “CHURRch BRO” through Aotearoa this summer! Black Box Theatre is proud to be hosting the first AND northern-most show of the nation-wide tour!

The self proclaimed “most known, unknown” comedian in the country hardly gigs so this is a very rare opportunity to see him perform. You don’t want to miss it!

CHURRch BRO is an hour-long show where ‘Opeti shares what he calls his “testiclemony (99% truth with 1% bollocks)”.

Laugh along as he takes you on a journey, giving you insight on what his life was like – through childhood to present day – while covering a range of topics from religion and parenting to crime and race relations.
