Kerikeri Theatre Company proudly presents “Social Climbers” by renowned Kiwi author, Roger Hall and by arrangement with Playmarket.
Roger Hall’s insightful situational comedy follows a group of female teachers, plus one reluctantly accompanying daughter, who embark on a weekend of bushwalking in the mountains to get away from it all.
Throughout their journey, they encounter truth, consequences, and unexpected revelations…
With a talented local cast and directed by Jane Massey, this show is sure to make you raise a few eyebrows, laugh out loud, tear up just a little and applaud enthusiastically as they bare all!

Doors open an hour before the show starts. There will be a 20-minute intermission where there will be light snacks and drinks available for purchase.

How do I get my ticket once I’ve ordered?
After ordering you will be sent a ticket via email. Print it up and bring it along or display it via your phone at the door. Each ticket will contain a unique QR code which we will scan at the door.
What kind of seating do you provide?
Seating is on a tiered structure and we will do the best with this to ensure great visibility to everyone. Seats are not numbered and are therefore, un-allocated. Please arrive early to get a good spot.
Is the show family friendly?
There are adult themes and drug references in this show, parental guidance is advised.
Is there an intermission?
Yes, there is a 20 minute intermission for this show.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds once a ticket has been reserved, unless the production is canceled or significantly postponed. However, if you are not able to attend, please feel free to contact us and we will try our best to assist you with re-selling the ticket.
What if I can’t make the show but I’ve already bought a ticket? Can I change the date?
Our ticketing system does not allow for the changing of dates so you are unable to change the date once a ticket has been purchased. However, we will create a public resource on our Facebook page to assist people who are looking to sell or trade tickets.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, tickets will be available at the door, however you will save $5 on your tickets when you purchase in advance. The door price will be $43 for Adults and $30 for Students.
Can I bring my own food or drink into the show?
Please do not bring in outside food or drinks. We will have food and drink available to purchase an hour before the show, during intermission and for an hour after the show.
Will I be able to buy food and drinks?
Yes, we will have drinks available to purchase as well as food and snacks.
Where is the Black Box Theatre Located?
The Black Box Theatre is located at 17 Sammaree Place, Kerikeri.
