Black Box Theatre is thrilled to present an enchanting event, “The Orange Box,” by the mesmerizing Naranjarte, on Saturday, 23rd March!
This unique production blends a symphony of puppetry, juggling, and illusion into an immersive experience that challenges perceptions and delights audiences of all ages.
THE ORANGE BOX is a captivating mix of spirited circus acts, intricate puppetry, and enchanting illusions, from hand puppets to marionettes.
Founded in 2011 by visionary artists Ana Lorite and Sergio Aguilar, Naranjarte has toured globally, presenting over 200 shows in 14 different countries. Now, with the collaboration of Katrina Chandra and Sarah Bell, “The Orange Box” is expanding its magic from 15 to 50 minutes of breathtaking performance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I get my ticket once I’ve ordered?
After ordering you will be sent a ticket via email. Print it up and bring it along or display it via your phone at the door. Each ticket will contain a unique QR code which we will scan at the door.
What kind of seating do you provide?
Seating is un-allocated but on a tiered structure so visibility is good.
Please arrive early to get a good spot.
Are there age restrictions?
Preferably 6 and up.
Is there an intermission?
There will be a 5 minute intermission between the show and the talk. The show runs for approximately 40 minutes. In total, the show plus the talk will run for approximately one hour.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds once a ticket has been reserved, unless the production is canceled or significantly postponed. However, if you are not able to attend, please feel free to contact us and we will try our best to assist you with re-selling the ticket.
What if I can’t make the show but I’ve already bought a ticket?
We do not offer ticket refunds. However, we will create a public resource on our Facebook page to assist people who are looking to sell or trade tickets.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, so long as there are tickets still available, there will be tickets available at the door. We strongly recommend buying in advance in order to avoid missing out as we have very limited seating.
Can I bring my own food or drink into the show?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed. However, if you have special dietary requirements or health-related needs please contact us at info@blackboxtheatre.co.nz to make special arrangements.
Will I be able to buy food and drinks?
Yes!
We will have light refreshments and snacks available to purchase 30 minutes before the show.
Where is the Black Box Theatre Located?
The Black Box Theatre is inside of the Kerikeri Theatre Company studio, which is located at 17 Sammaree Place, Kerikeri 0230.
